Can o Cat

I tried to eliminate everything unnecessary. If you know you want a can of cat, than you will buy this. Otherwise, there is not much here to try to persuade you.

  2. Did u draw the cat or paste it in? I like the contrast of the dark purple and black against the white silver cat. It seems like a chic can. Well put together.

  3. First of all, I love the color scheme- the black and purple stripes go great with the gaunt striped cat. I'm also glad to see two variations of the purples (three if you include the light shade on the kitty). If you were to change anything, I would say to try and make the name of the product stand out a bit more- maybe add a white outline to it or something. Good job!

  4. I really like the surrounding area around the can, it is very noticeable which is a good thing for design. Purple gives me a feeling of mystery and it looks exotic. I think this is a really strong layout and the produce really comes out at you. I think the text is really strong too, it creates a great direction of design. This is really creative and an awesome idea!

  5. Your choice of purple and black stripes seems very effective in conveying the idea of "Alice's" cat. It is culturally understood that Alice in Wonderland is definitely a bit "off," if you will, and I think your use of dark imagery relates to that theme. The only element not working in it's favor is the teeth directly behind the cat...maybe better placement or not including it at all would make the main graphic less cluttered. I'd buy this if I saw it on the shelf...

  6. Good color scheme and use of repetition with the stripes of color. You may be able to find better placement for the cat's smile in the background. Perhaps toning it down to a gray instead of a bright white. Right now it is conflicting with the cat image. Very nice overall design.

  7. I did paste the graphic as we were aloud to paste in an image of our product. Thanks for the comments.

  8. The colors and the cat image work really well with the can label. Its obvious that you chose to create a less cluttered label, and it totally works. All of the presented elements give for a mysterious feel. The only thing that seems to be a tad off are the teeth in the background; maybe decreasing their opacity would make it appear a little less dominant? It seems to be competing with the cat.
