I didn't think much change needed to be done to make this piece any more successful than it already was. I like the darkened tones and added texture however, it certainly only adds more dimension and doesn't distract from the image.
The darker tones on your body and in the background created more contrast and it looks great! I also like the bolded text of certain words, it makes sense to highlight those since your eye is automatically drawn to them anyways. The final piece looks great!
Looks great! I'm glad to see that you added a bit of paper crumpling/water marks behind the text in the lower left corner.
