Your final design is really cool. I like the simplicity of the M inside the C. However, I love your first design with the belt framing the logo. It is pretty detailed, but simple enough to stand out and the details just tie everything together.
I really like the simplicity of the final, but I also liked the belt around one of them as the frame! I'd have to say one of my favorites is the scotty dog though!

i think you chose the overall best logo to represent the school. it is the strongest in that it seems to carry the history with it. it is professional and clean which is a major plus! great job!
